HERE IS THE STORY ON WATERBOONY!

My story of "Waterboony! Water Absorbent Boony Hats!" begins as follows:

Waterboony started as a means to an end on a hot summer day. I was wearing a boony hat while on duty as a State Peace Officer and I wondered about staying cooler while in the sun. I took my boony hat and ran cool water on the lid but it evaporated within a few minutes. I tried again and I noticed that my neoprene gloves were absorbing the water while I soaked the boony hat.

So began to put "one and one" together and called a manufacturer of neoprene and ordered some material that was water absorbent and found a tailor to make a "prototype" Waterboony Hat and once I found that the Waterboony Hat made me feel cooler thru its evaporative cooling properties, I began my quest to make my dream possible.

This was the beginning of an dream idea that became a reality!

With alot of inspiration from Donny Deutsch "CNBC - The Big Idea!", I watched every episode available and became determined to obtain a prototype, find a manufacturer, obtain patents and licenses and trademarks all thru the resources of the internet.

It took approximately 10 months of trial and errors and a "Can Do!" attitude that came full circle in June 2008 when my website opened up for business for the first time!

My business and website continues to evolve and grow and mature to meet the needs of the public. My badge of honour is one that customers tell me how our Waterboony Hats prevented heat stroke from soldiers in the desert heat preparing for a deployment in the military, to the mom who tells me his son's face and awareness was clearly visible from "distressed to refreshed!" when he tried on the Waterboony hat! This was an instant winner and a tried and proven event from the sun's heat!

My business has also contributed to my children and wife who have seen what cooperation, hard work, and a dedication to something bigger than ourselves can accomplish in our lives, to indeed be our brother and sister's keeper in their welfare and safety.

I could not succeed without my families love, understanding, hard work and advice, to which I am eternally grateful.

I am convinced that you start with a vision, get educated, listen and organize, take a risk and reach for your prosperity and never stop growing, evolving and sharing!
